I've been to NY several times. I think NY city has the best food in the USA!!! The Greeks and Italians sure know how to cook......yummy!!

The busiest city I ever lived in was Madrid, Spain, but I'd go back and live in a heatbeat!!

I took accutane in my early 20's. I thought it was a miracle. My face cleared up and I am now in my late 30's. I never had to take it again. I seem to remember that I took it for a long time. I kind of remember my derm saying it was a longer than usual course. Maybe that gave me lasting results.

It sounds like for most, they only took it that "one" time and have had lasting results....I may ask my derm what he thinks about it!

Don't tell me twice! lol Yea you're right, NYC food is great, we have all kinds of that stuff from all over. lol mm i love Carmines on 93rd!!! I want to go to Spain too, you're soo lucky! Hopefully one day in a couple of yrs, i will travel the world!! Only if i can take my babies with me tho!

It does work miracles!! It's really good. They say depression is a side effect but when i was on it i was very happy, i wasn't one bit depressed cause my face was clearing up

Yes ask your derm please and let me know what he says. And if you can ask him if it would be bad to take it for a 3rd time? I am wondering if that's dangerous to do or not. I want to have kids when i get older and i don't want it to effect that. I think one of the reasons why i didn't have loong last effects like others is cuz i suck at taking pills. I am irresponsible when taking medication, i took them at diff. times everyday and with pills you have to be consistant, take it everyday and at the same time for it to work correctly so it's my fault.

I also ended it early, as soon as my acne disappeared i kinda stopped taking it when you're not supposed to do that. But it did work for a long time! My face is still better than before, wayyyy better! I want to get microdermabrasion tho or laser cause i have some scarring from before. If i take it a 3rd time i will make sure or at least try to take it everyday at the same time.

Years ago, after having clear skin all through High School, my acne started. First was the antibiotics, which didn't help, along with all the creams. RetinA, I'm sure you've heard of it. When my acne started I was having terrible problems with my menstrual cycle. I ended up having a hysterectomy at age 32. It wasn't until then that my acne cleared up. From age 24 until 32 I took Accutane on and off until my hysterectomy. I had the usual side effects, but it did help my acne. The problem was, by the time I started taking Accutane, I already had scaring. When I had my hysterectomy, my doctor left on ovary, so I didn't have to take hormone replacment. Don't know if this helps or not, but I know what you mean about getting depressed when you have acne. That's been years ago, and I wonder what the long term effects are. Keep your chin up!

accutane is a last resort..it was an option for me but I was not comfortable with the risk of having a deformed child from it...i am on adoxa and solidyn...these are a step down from accutane and I have been happy with the results of both

Accutane worked great for me. That was almost 20 years ago. I wasn't sure if it was the accutane that made my skin so smooth or the birth control pills that I had to be on at the same time.

Why not try the BC pills without the accutane for a while. That might be enough to clear up your skin. Start the accutane again if it doesn't work.
