Oh no!! What a shock, I am so sorry this has happened!! I just hate that someone could do this after you just did a very generous act for them. It is so hard to know who you can trust and who you can't anymore. It does make it hard for other members because lately there have been so many scams here on YT. I do hope you get the money back. And I hope you haven't completely lost your faith in YT and the members. I guess no matter where you go you will always have some bad apples in the bunch.:( |

$600?! OUCH! I was scammed earlier this year by a seller for a little over $100 and that ticked me off but I was a newbie and didn't say anything:( |

This is so sad to read ............... I am so sorry Janell that you have suffered financial loss. But I will admit this is not the first time I have seen the ID "willow" come under question regarding ethics. I am really shocked to hear this as I have had conversations with her in threads and PM...........so this is a real shocker to me but then again, I only know her from YT. I guess I am stupified!!!!! I hope that Willow will come to the thread and post her side and how she plans to resolve this serious issue. |
Janel...I am so sorry this has happened to you...you have a heart of gold and are always there to lend a helping hand. It makes me so angry to see that Alycia has taken advantage of you and seems to have no conscience, or she surely would be making an effort. I believe I have her address from selling her a dress once...if you need it, just let me know, but I suppose you already have that info. It is so sad that we think we know and can trust yt'ers, but it seems things like this are happening anyway. I will be very cautious from now on, especially with stories like the one Alycia gave. There is NO possible way this person will take away my faith in people on YT. There are so many good souls here that would not hesitate to lend a helping hand for someone in need. I have seen it time and time again, and I hope I see it for many more years to come. We just have to be cautious whom we choose to help. :) Also, just an FYI, I do have her full name, address, and phone number. (It just rings), so my options are not limited on what method I decide to proceed with..... |

Yes, anytime there is an issue with a financial transaction, you may contact us. We will try our best to try to resolve the situation if we are able to. If it is an item that has been paid for and not yet received, and if you paid by Paypal, those are generally resolveable through Paypal. We believe it is better for our YorkieTalk community to post about a negative experience, so that other members may know about it, as long as you have given the member ample time to respond. On YorkieTalk, as in life, there will be those people that take advantage of the kindness and generosity of others. It would be very hard for us to try and help members who loan other members money and don't get paid back, as there is little recourse, other than small claims court. We know that YorkieTalk members can be some of the most generous people on Earth and we hate to see anyone taking advantage of. We urge every member to be very cautious when it comes to any financial transactions, whether it be with a YorkieTalk member or anyone. |
This is really sad...I have to say it sounds to me that this woman has some serious issues prioritizing things in life...No running water with 4 kids and pets, but internet access? Owing large sums, but attempting to start a breeding program and purchasing new pups? There is nothing more that I hate than folks who think they can get through life on everyone else's coat tails and never take responsibility for themselves. |

Well, Janell since you posted, I guess Alycia never got back with you!! That is horrible and I am very VERY sorry that this has happened to you! Have you been able to do anything about it (regarding PayPal or anything)? If you do hear from her, please let her know that there are a lot of people that would like to hear from her and that are not very happy with her!! It is too late for me to do anything....I waited too long....giving her the benefit of the doubt.....oh well! Your's is a major major issue and I hope that it gets taken care of soon! this is terrible I am stunned for any better word. I am new here also..and so glad this was posted. It is hard feeling our way around as it is without finding out scammers are on such a great site.. Pretty scary. I have been scammed also, know the feeling, NOT with YT members. You obviously have a good heart, do not change who you are. What goes around does come around in so many different ways... I too am sorry that you got taken. I always get a knot in my stomach when I read posts like Willow's and I am afraid to donate anything to the member. I would give my right arm for members like V but not the likes of this Willow beast. I guess the best idea is to refuse to give funds to anyone that keeps talking about their bad situation and the lack of money. I've seen the topic of being "taken" far too often on ths site. Are there any big strong burly guys living in Ohio that would be willing to pay Willow a visit? |
Hi Jan, I just wanted to say I am so sorry that this happened to you, I hope this person will make it right and come forth in returning that to you. It is folks such as yourself that make it such a pleasure to turn this little box sitting her atop my desk, look into this monitor and read those posts such as yours and many others that let God's light of love shine through. There was a great need this last spring to help a man in great need and Jan you were one of the very first to come through in donating towards a puppy for him, needless to say that shortly afterwards unknowingly to himself or anyone that he would be faced with a life threating health issue to deal with, we now hear this man's surgery went well, it was through the love of folks here that this new little fur baby gave him a new lease on life and has helped him get through one of his most difficult times in his life. God knew this need and helped provide through those here in YT. I hope that this person may be on line reading all these posts and her heart will be changed and come forth and do right in her life to and for others. It is so sad that things like this happen, makes us more careful but thankfully the incident with her didn't harden your heart in helping others. Thanks for telling us all about this, sad as it is but it is important for us all to know. Bless you for the lady you are, God's loving light shines through in you. I missed the whole CC thread but just read it now...that whole thread sounds fishy to me..what ever came of it do you know?? Did she ever go to court?? Why did she pay the money?? If the breeder got the cash from the petstore that day..how could the petstore take her dog away from her?? So many unanswered questions Im sure!! I am sorry she RIPPED you off!! Terrible that a fellow YT'er would do this!! I am ashamed of you Willow!! Money is tight for me right now too but I wouldnt take a CENT from one person on here..not one cent!! You could have at least paid her back $20 bucks a week or something?? How dare you take the kindness of a stranger and smash it into the ground...what comes around goes around...how did you feel when you lost $600 and had to repay it?? This makes me sick!! How could you take that money that was so kindly offered to you and not pay a cent on it?? Ashamed of you? There isnt even a word in my vocabulary that could describe how I feel about you at this moment. I hope she hasnt signed up for this GE..if so I would have her name removed. |
I'm sorry this happened to you, It sucks that you opened your heart and pocket book to someone to help them out and they do this in return, Ill never understand how people can do others like that. We use to be pretty well off until 3 years ago and we now strugle at times. But no way would I ever do that to anyone. It kills me if I think Im going to pay a bill late. so I dont know how anyone can be like that. I didnt care for the trailer remark, Because I too now live in what use to be a trailer and is built on, But Mines very clean. some say to clean. but thats just how I am. |
Jan, First of all, this was so nice of you to do for her!!! Your heart was in the right place!!! Unfortunately, Alycia's heart is not or she would of made some attempt to repay you. I too once loaned someone money that really needed it. They made lots of promises but NEVER repaid me one penny. (this person is now famous in the country music world and has sooooo much money but has never offered to repay the money) At first I was so angry and bitter about it but I finally came to terms with the fact that I would never get the money back. I chalked it up to a very valuable lesson and decided to put it behind me. Once I did that ...I felt so much better!!! You were right to come on YT and tell others what happened to you...I would of done the same thing!!! Hopefully, Alycia will do the right thing and repay you but if not I hope you can "pat yourself on the back" for the great thing you did. I just hate that she took advantage of your generous heart!!!! |
dosnt it just seem that finding good people is becomming a hard thing to do. its so sad when ya try to be helpful and you end up getting the short end of the stick grrrrr. you would think that if someone tried to help you get on your feet again they would be greatful and do everything in their power to repay. sorry you have to put up with that. its becomming a sad sad world out there:) |

I hope in the end you get rewarded for you generosity. It's so sad when you really think you trust someone they turn around and stab you in the back. All she needed to do was just give you even a small payment to show you that she really was grateful for your help. Your not the 1st one to be scammed on her, It's sad to know there are people that don't care and will do what ever it takes to help themselves. I am so sorry that someone would take advantage of your kindness. I don't know you but it shows what a kind and caring person you are to loan her $600. I really hope she gets in contact with you and pays you back. To not even make payments is just wrong. You can't just use people like that...but as others said it will come back on her. How horrible that she has kids and dogs living in that situation. I am in a bad situation BUT I would NEVER ask anyone here for money. I am not even asking my family for money. I am just doing what I can to increase my income so I can stand on my own two feet. Too bad this "woman"(hate to call her a woman, because these are not the actions of a real woman...more like a little girl) is not trying to pay back her loans and do what she can to take care of herself and her kids. |
That is too bad I am sorry. If I needed money I would go to the bank and get a loan I would never ask any one here for money advise yes money no! I do hope you get your money there is always small claims court or check with the attorney general in your area.They have settled a claim for me and it cost me nothing, worth a try. |
