THANK YOU! YES! That Blue Rat Tail Comb is what I have been looking for. But I have to say, now I really am leaning towards the shishcabob holder! I already have those, just have to get one out and try it.

| Two things: <???????> A couple times that I put a Top Knot into Katy's hair, I did the two type....one in the front (puppy short hair) and one behind that with the first one tucked into it. Do you think that is too much stress on the hair (2 bands)? I kinda thought it changed the area of the band and might help. AND! It really was CUTE! Also? I changed Katy's toenail cutters not to Dog Cutters. I was using people Toenail Clippers. It went way better, she's grown of course. Do you all use cutters or grinders? If grinders, what type have you found best? I've cut a LOT of toenails, a LOT (used to race sled dogs and did nails every other Thursday Morning, still do that every other Thurs morning, just less dogs to do), and have always used good dog clippers. So any hints for this tiny dog will help. She's pretty good about her nails. NOT as good as she should be, NOT as good as she used to be (no never clipped her quick) but want to do the best for her. Also. I hold this tiny dog in my lap as I do them. I have always done my other dogs from the ground, even my Cocker Spaniels. |

I appreciate ALL your help. I know you have a life outside of this forum. <smiles and winks. You have already helped a LOT! I NEED to get photos of Katy. I cut <read choppy cute> her legs and ears. My little clippers.....danged things! I need to clean and oil and SEE if that helps. Truth? Katy looks better. I did her butt area and back area too. She looks.....let's call it 'cleaner'. <read choppy Ha Ha>

| That's so cute! She was pretty cooperative for such a young pup. Our Graysee absolutely HATED topknots, and immediately destroyed them as soon as she was turned loose!!! I have ONE picture where she actually posed with one!! Photo0049A.jpg |

My kid is a rescue, I adopted him when he was 2 1/2 years old, he never had a top knot. I had 4 girls I could never keep a top knot on them, if she didn't paw it off the sisters would. I was determined this guy was going to have one. He was good, after 2 weeks he learned to accept it
