Two things: <???????>

A couple times that I put a Top Knot into Katy's hair, I did the two type....one in the front (puppy short hair) and one behind that with the first one tucked into it. Do you think that is too much stress on the hair (2 bands)? I kinda thought it changed the area of the band and might help. AND! It really was CUTE!

Also? I changed Katy's toenail cutters not to Dog Cutters. I was using people Toenail Clippers. It went way better, she's grown of course. Do you all use cutters or grinders? If grinders, what type have you found best?

I've cut a LOT of toenails, a LOT (used to race sled dogs and did nails every other Thursday Morning, still do that every other Thurs morning, just less dogs to do), and have always used good dog clippers. So any hints for this tiny dog will help.

She's pretty good about her nails. NOT as good as she should be, NOT as good as she used to be (no never clipped her quick) but want to do the best for her.

Also. I hold this tiny dog in my lap as I do them. I have always done my other dogs from the ground, even my Cocker Spaniels.
