| Question...do they need the life jackets or are they just a precaution? Have they always gone in the water? My daughter bought a house with a pool so planned on spending afternoons there with my grandson this summer. I never thought yorkie would be a waterdog? They have a lab pup so I'm sure they won't be keeping him out of the pool but max needs all the exercise he can get to keep his boyish figure. (Vet said gaining too much weight for his frame) |

Neither loves the water. I have to encourage them.

| I had two girls (now passed) who LOVED swimming, never used a life jacket for them, but, they weren't swimming for long periods of time, they would dash in and out of the water with only about 7 minutes of actual swimming. I do have a life for Cody for our pool invites, he is not a fan of swimming lol.

My Yorkie loves to swim and dock jump and will not quit until I make him. I have three dogs moan n groan when I call an end to water time.

| Guess I'll be looking for life jackets. Would rather be safe than sorry and if Max spends a lot of time over there swimming he could use it. Was surprised the doggy paddle isn't something they just know and have to learn it. Sounds like a fun activity for Max and my grandson adores him...he's just the right size for him. They have a shallow walk in end so maybe he can get use to the water sitting there with me 😀 |

Hrmm... So here's the YouTube "full" video link: https: //www.youtube.com/ watch?v= 9FsqOhY7-ds &feature=youtu.be (without the spaces) The "new" YouTube link is: http:// youtu.be/ 9FsqOhY7-ds (without the spaces) The 'filename' of the video would be: 9FsqOhY7-ds For the embedding to work, you need to put in a link like this: http: //www.youtube.com/watch?v= 9FsqOhY7-ds (without the space after http: in between v= and the 'video' filename)
