| Jail break! Riot has been doing awesome lately but recently discovered how to escape. I set up my camera, went outside and waited to see how he did it. We're trying to decide on a taller gate or an x-pen. suggestions? Also, he jumped up and over the fence that surrounds our deck to get into the yard and that's about 32 inches tall...idk what would be best.

| Ah man that was too cute! I wonder why he doesn't go on the other side with the little door to use as a footing? Anyway, as soon as I saw that gate, I thought it was too short. Why not just close the door to the bathroom? If you get a higher one I think he will just find another way to climb out. These little buggers are too smart.

| If the door is closed, he throws a fit! Throws is food all over, stomps in his water and gets himself and the floor all wet, chews on the cabinets even tho we use bitter apple on them...all within minutes of putting him in. If the door is open, he's fine, but we can't quite trust him to be out in the house for a few hours while our work shifts overlap.

I forgot to say, it's so cute in the beginning of the vid where he is scoping out the joint, to see when it's safe to make a break for it! I think you may have to attach a full screen/storm door to your bathroom LOL.

| I to have an escape artist he can climb like a cat & it does not matter if the pen is high he will climb it and walk the edges, and looks at me as if to say when are you gonna give it up. the only thing that will hold him is a wire crate then he never stops barking so it is not used very often unless i need to run out and no one is home

My little Shadow Donating YT Member | OMG....it was so Cute though! He was so debonair about it...........doing a little dance........then like he was on a ballet bar or something!! haha I know it's frustrating though. My daughter's dog has a similiar gate, but with walk thru opening and shuts automatically. He figured out that with enough paw pressure & I mean like playing the drums....he can make the walk thru 'open'! Her solution was one of those plastic ties around the gate bars. Wish I knew a solution to yr problem. Hoping someone has ideas. Good Luck!

| Sounds like Versace when he was younger. He started escaping at about 10 weeks. He started jumping gates that height within that week. I wish I could help. I only used the gate when I was home and he knew not to test me. I crated him when I was gone. Good luck |

| Was it wrong to be cheering for him at the end?LOL I had to...he's sooo stinkin' cute!! I'm amazed he can pull himself up that high with just his front paws. I hope you get some good ideas....we put Pasquale in a crate when we're gone. In the beginning he use to cry a little...but now not a peep!
