| Cheryl, My heart goes out to you for insuring that little Theo has the best care available, is comfortable and is enjoying his home. I was in the same situation with DJ for over a year after he was diagnosed with significant glourmerii damage in his kidneys and a liver shunt closed off at 6 1/2 yrs. The glourmerii/protein loss was too much for his little body to take anymore and we laid him to rest 1/23/08 after only having loved him for a year and a half. Love him like there is no tomorrow. Take plenty of pictures/videos like Mike does to preserve those precious memories. Bob

| AttENTION EVERYONE~~~~~ PLEASE be very careful when you put out ANYkind of bug/fire-ant or other insect baits. One if my very young Yorkie pups licked some of it from where my hubby had recently put it around the bushes etc. Within seconds/minutes he was stumbling around confused and VERY ILL. I rushed him to the vet and they pumped his tummy. Fortunately my dad was visiting and he could tell us what the product was and the vet, with our giving ANY promises said he would do the best he could because the puppy weighed about 3-4 pounds and he couldn't guarentee what would happen. Thank goodness he did pull thru and lived for 12 happy years. PLEASE be very careful as spring is upon us and lots of folks will be working in the yard. Thanks for reading my story of shock, pain and disbelief. Sharon~~~~~Tigger~~~~~RIP~~~~~ |

| I am so sorry that it is taking me this long to post this message, but my heart has been shattered into a million pieces. On March 16th Theo became very ill once again and we had to make the awful decision to let him go and be with the Lord. We have been just devastated with the loss of our little boy and no words could ever discribe the pain we are feeling over this horrible situation. Although we hold tight to his little brother Charlie and shower him with love, it just can't fill the void left in our hearts. I know Theodore is in Heaven and has no more pain or discomfort and although it was a difficult decision to make I know it was the right one. Thank you all for being such wonderful friends and so supportive through out our Liver Shunt ordeal, your kind words have been most helpful. I will visit YorkieTalk as soon as my heart mends a little. God Bless Cheryl Last edited by Cheryl1022; 04-20-2009 at 10:29 AM. |
