| It's normal for mine! I swear all he has to do is walk out on the back porch for two seconds and as soon as the outside air hits him, he gets a funk on him! I do live in NC and I know it's humid in the south but jeez!!!!!!!!!!

| I know exactly what you mean... I had a toy poodle who did just that each time she went out...she came in with that random outdoor smell.... It would last about 30 min..till she aired out a bit...lol Kind of like it clings in their coat!! But...I never liked my laundry hung outside either...lol I love the fresh "downy" smell from my dryer...

| I have noticed the same thing when I take my girls out to potty they always stink, mg: and I finally started spraying detangleing spray on them or putting my bath and body lotion on my hand then rubbing them a few times to make them smell a little better cause mine are big lap babies and I cant stand the smell it smells like a dry sour smell, when they come in. I do think it has something to do with the humidy in the south I am in san antonio texas and it is really bad here.

| Ick, I hate that smell. It's a mix of metal and dirt. BLAH. Prince gets it the worst cause he lokes to roll around in the dirt. Angel just does her business and comes right back. Thank god for that. I dunno if I could take that smell on two of them lol

| I hate to tell you all, but location or humidity has nothing to do with that smell!! We have had the opportunity to experience this in pretty much all areas of the country .... it's all the same! Toto can go for a 10 minute walk and stinks to high heaven!! It's no different here in Colorado than it is in Alabama! We don't let her on the ground very often ... that's the most nausiating smell I have ever smelled!!

| I think I have it all figured out, its all of the flat frogs and other thing that get chopped up in the lawn mower that is the real problem, not the smell of our sweet babies, its the want to roll on smelly things that is unpleasant to humans |

| I walked bella and sachi to the mailbox last night, appx. 5 min. walk. We came back in the house and they both reeked. I couldnt be around either of them for a good 15 minutes. It was awful. I dont understand, it doesnt stink outside but the combo of the dogs and being outside is not a good one! |
