Werner Biewer did not intentionally breed to get the first Biewer from Fru Fru and Darling. It just happened. I am not sure what the next steps were though that he took to continue on with the white and black yorkies. The Biewer world is hoping that Mrs. Biewer can give us loads of information.

Kathy they are adorable. I need to get some more pictures of Sebastian up here. Kathy sold me Sebastian and he is just gorgeous and has a personality to go with it.

I am confused. I read that in all the biewer clubs guidelines for ethical breeders, I think there are quite a few clubs also, that a reputable biewer breeder is not aloud to cross breed the two. Am I missing something?

Breeding Biewers to yorkies is one of the things that the clubs disagree about. Even in Germany many breeders are still using "fresh blood" to improve their lines. At one time there was concern for health if just bred Biewer to Biewer to Biewer, but there is not absolute proof that I know of that the health declines. Both of my splitter girls are excellent yorkies. If I would have gotten a Biewer girl from Hanny I would have kept it. As it is, Pam kept a splitter girl from her for future breeding.
