My Biewers 4 Attachment(s) I have had people asking about my Biewers so here are some pictures. These are Ivette, Meri, Tobias, and Murphy |
They are gorgeous. Is that you handling the pup in the 3rd pic? |
Yes, bad picture though. The photographer caught me trying to straighten out my sleeve. It was so cold out! I had several layers on and they were bunching up! My other win photo was better, but somehow it did not get scanned by my friend. |

The pictures are in the order I listed the dogs. 1st picture is Ivette. She is 2 1/2 years old now. The picture was sent to me by her breeder in Germany. I have not shown her myself. I imported her in February. 2nd picture is Meri. She is a year and 2-3 months old. The picture was taken in late June at the show at Purina Farms. She was born here in Kansas. 3rd Picture is Tobias. He is now 1 year and 4 months old. The picture was taken at Purina Farms last November (1st weekend). He won BIS Rare Breed Puppy!!! Tobias is the father to the litters I now have. Tobias was imported just a couple of days before he won his BIS honor! 4th Picture is Murphy. He will be a year old on December 7. The picture was taken in early April at a show in California. Murphy won Reserve BIS Puppy. The judges told me he had tied, but then lost the tie breaker. I did not ask what the tie breaker was though. Murphy was imported just days before his show debut too. It made the trip to CA duel purpose, pick him up from the airport and dog show. |

I co-own another female with a friend. I have two litters of puppies right now and plan on keeping one from each litter (one of them will be co-owned). I also have two females that are 1/2 Biewer yorkies. (one of them is my avatar) I would like to get one more female someday, but right now I am dog poor!!! Also the husband may have to move out of the house so there is room!!! LOL He tolerates the dogs, but is not much help. |
lol.. are yorkie/biewers (1/2 of both) accepted as rare breed and allowed in the ring, too? |
3 Attachment(s) They are registered as yorkies. I have shown Rishona at 2 shows. She won Reserve BIS puppy in OK City last fall. She is pictured in my avatar from the Purina show and in the crate with the other Biewer (ended up selling her as she was just 3 pounds as an adult) from the OK City show. The picture with a bunch Hanny was imported in February with Ivette. You need to remember that a Biewer is a yorkie with different coloring, so if the puppy is colored like a yorkie that is what it is registered as. If colored like a Biewer then it is a Biewer. |
Can you help me with this question: How was the breed created? Were there many yorkies that produced these genes then they were bred to more yorkies that had the genes and the carriers were bred together to create biewers? Did it start with one biewer or two? It's hard for me to say, but do you understand what I am asking? Thanks |

I know there are others, so if someone else wants to put another link on that is fine with me. I am just not taking the time at 2am to go looking for any others. (sorry for this last bit, but I have my reasons. I hope the reasons do not become aparent now that I gave you only one site. If so, I appologize ahead of time.) |

Both the IBC and the ACH-L are under the DHZ group in Germany. I know all of these letters is very confusing. The simple answer the splitters are not with AKC, but with other groups. |
