				 | thank you! browniesmom622, Joy, iheartyorkies, Lexi's_Mommy, lily's mom, Connie, MyYorkieRox, red98vett, Stitches29, Fran42478, Max'smommy62793, Marie, REDFROG, Faith's Auntie, and SoCalyorkiLvr... thank you all for your kind words! i'm very happy to know there are such great people out there with yorkies! it seems as though i'm one of the only males(if not the only one) on this site! hehe anyways, let me tell you a little about nugget! it all started 2 months back when i was delivering pizza in my neiborhood and i came accross a very sweet woman that breeded yorkies. i though to myself for a second, and remembered how my girlfriend was telling me about how much she had always wanted one. when the women opened the door her 9 month old female came bursting out the door with kisses for me. she also had nuggets' mother and father, and another old male, along with 5 one week old pups(3 girls, 2 boys)! i instintly fell in love with nugget and got barbs'(the breeder) name and number and told kendra(my girlfriend) all about the cute lil pups. the next day kendra and i went together to see the dogs. the second she walked into the doors i saw her eyes light up with joy. i knew we had to have nugget! we had a great time and kendra talked about them the whole way home. we ended up going to see nugget atleast twice a week from then on till about his 6 week birthday when we brought him home! he is now just past 8 weeks and loving life! hes probly about 3/3 and a half lbs now and very very playful, loving, and a great addition to our home and life! we also have all of his papers stating hes purebred here are a few pictures i took last night! |

				 | Isn't six weeks a little early to take a puppy? I am asking because my Chloe had puppies a few weeks ago (take a peek in the gallery) and I thought that before 10 weeks was too soon...whad ya all think?

				 | 6 weeks is normally too soon yes, but nugget had known us all his life, we had been seeing him atleast 2-3 times a week and he knew us as well as we knew him. he was also an individual- he slept alone, ate alone, ect. The breeder wasnt going to just let anyone take a pup home. she had confidence in us and knew we'd be good parents. he also was done with his mothers milk, so we wernt depriving him of anything he would have normally had if we didnt take him. he has grown considerably in the past 2 weeks and is very healthy! |
