6 weeks is normally too soon yes, but nugget had known us all his life, we had been seeing him atleast 2-3 times a week and he knew us as well as we knew him. he was also an individual- he slept alone, ate alone, ect. The breeder wasnt going to just let anyone take a pup home. she had confidence in us and knew we'd be good parents. he also was done with his mothers milk, so we wernt depriving him of anything he would have normally had if we didnt take him. he has grown considerably in the past 2 weeks and is very healthy!
