| I have a confession to make... well, two confessions, actually First....I shaved Ginger's hair. Poor thing has such thin hair to begin with, and right now her allergies are in full bloom so she already had a good start, having chewed most the hair off her hind legs the other day. (upgraded meds have stopped the chewing, but damage was done) Second....I LIKE IT short. I know we are supposed to mourn our yorkies beautiful coats when we shave their little bodies, but...she is so shiny and soft. I think I'm finally ready to give it up and keep her hair short Anyway, this pic was taken about mid way through (we're taking a break as we are both overwhelmed by how long it takes to shave a yorkie) So, no making fun of the long hair sticking out in odd places P.S. This is the first time I ever cut her hair...(other than small bits of trimming here and there between visits to the professionals)

| Dealing with allergies is always difficult so I would do whatever it took to make Ginger happy. The look on her face seems to say, "I don't know what else to do so it's coming off" I had a terrior before Buddy who suffered terribly with allergies so I know how frustrating it can be to try and keep your pet comfortable. Did you groom her? Your doing a good job. I like the Yorkies short also. This breed looks good however they are cut. |

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | I gotta hand it to you - GREAT job. I know how long it takes to shave a dog down and it's backbreaking and time consuming. I do my cocker myself and it's a 3 hour job with lots of breaks - You did GREAT and with her allergies I bet she'll be feeling so much better. She looks so CUTE ...I really like it too that cut really opens her pretty little face up |

| I think your baby looks beautiful. I keep Murfees hair short and usually shave him in the summer when we are camping. Thankfully he doesn't have allergies, we just find it easier and all the stick tights or whatever they are called don't stick to his hair. Good job. Patty and Murfee |

| Judy -- Ginger looks FANTASTIC -- in my humble opinion. But you wanna know a secret -- it doesn't matter what ANYONE thinks except YOU! She is your furbaby, and you do a fantastic job of taking care of her. So don't feel bad about not mourning hair..... her heart and spirit is what is important, and you DID NOT nick that. |
