well, two confessions, actually

First....I shaved Ginger's hair. Poor thing has such thin hair to begin with, and right now her allergies are in full bloom so she already had a good start, having chewed most the hair off her hind legs the other day. (upgraded meds have stopped the chewing, but damage was done)

Second....I LIKE IT short.

I know we are supposed to mourn our yorkies beautiful coats when we shave their little bodies, but...she is so shiny and soft. I think I'm finally ready to give it up and keep her hair short

Anyway, this pic was taken about mid way through (we're taking a break as we are both overwhelmed by how long it takes to shave a yorkie) So, no making fun of the long hair sticking out in odd places


P.S. This is the first time I ever cut her hair...(other than small bits of trimming here and there between visits to the professionals)
