Silk is much easier to care for, soft matts much easier.

They say soft coats grow faster but I have not seen alot of difference in growth rates with my 2.

Yes, because silk is much easier but a soft coated puppy is sure cute .

Yes there is, wirey or what some call red legs.

I am sure there are others that can expand on these answers. I am just giving you my experiences with my 2.

Patti - Pixie is so pretty. I love when they stay dark like that AND have a silk coat. She is a little doll.

Hahaha thanks girl! Actually, his hair is a *tad* shorter now (although not by much at all) - I wanted to trim his ends up just a bit and even them out some I love keeping his coat in a medium length, but prefer the shorter cut on the face, well...for the boys anyway
