| Sully squatted when he was a tiny puppy....we got him neutered at 6 months...and now sometimes he squats, and sometimes he lifts his leg. Most of the time he squats, but leans to one side as to lift a leg off of the ground but not quite up in the air. It's kinda funny. Either way, he always pees outside. Personally I could care less which way he pees, haha. But, it is interesting animal behaviour to figure out why they do the things they do

| Jeremiah squats too. He is 6 months and I got him last on May 26. I am so happy he doesn't lifts his leg. My dad encourages him to annoy me. He is getting neutered on Friday so I hope enough changes until then. He only lifted or tried to lift his leg once which was last Friday or Saturday in Ohio. I forgot.

| Biggie is also a squatter... and he's 1 year 6mo old!!! My boyfriend always makes fun of him saying that Biggie used to be a little girl in his past life But I'm glad biggie doesn't lift his leg!! and he was neutered around 6months... maybe that has something to do with it??

| Yoda (who's 3 now) always squats when he pees on the grass or on his pee pad, but if he's marking his light pole, fire hydrant or any other area, he lifts his leg! |

| Cocoa squatted when we first got him (around 8 weeks old). But then he started lifting his legs very early - about 10 weeks old. We were all surprised as to how he learned it because there was no other male dogs around him. I guess they just learn things like this on they own. Anyway, now he either squatting or lifting his legs. |
