| Dolce is such a cute name! Is that like Dolce and Gabana? (sp?) Anyhow, Dolce is so adorable! She reminds me of a cute fuzzy little fox! I believe Luna and her are around the same age considering that they weight about the same. Luna I believe weight 2.4 lbs as of 2 weeks ago. I am sure she has gained some, we find out friday at the vet's.

LOL...thank you so much!! I simply adore your little one Luna...she is a princess! Well, I actually did not name Dolce after "Dolce & Gabbana" although everyone thinks so I thought she was so sweet, so I chose the name for sweet in Italian. So thats how that came about...but I always get asked the question "So where's Gabbana?" lol Please post more pics of Luna....she is just too cute!!!

LOL....I can't argue with your brother!! I am waiting and waiting for the day that Dolce grows her hair. I bought some barrettes in CVS and they stayed in for about an hour....then she was all over the house, under the sofa, wrestling with her toys....forget it, it fell out right after that. I cant wait until the day that I can put it in her hair and not have to worry about it falling out. The three strands of hair on her head now just wont hold it!!! ![]() P.S. Thank you for the compliments on Dolce....your baby looks adorable...and I am so jealous of the hair!!

She is really cute!!! Glad you are enjoying her. I can't wait to take my little Mia back to the vet to get weighed. I love to see how much she's gained, but want her to stay small. So far, so good. I'm probably going to take her in Saturday. About your yorkie's hair, I have 2 yorkies from 2 different breeders and they had totally different types of fur. Our first one was very full and this 2nd one is very thinned out. I think it depends on the parents. They are different in their own ways. What a joy!!

r4sons Thank you so much!! I love taking her to the vet also to see how much she has gained....she has to go back for her last set of shots this weekend, so we will see how much she has gained. Her last weigh in was 2lbs 7 oz. Of course she still seems tiny to me like she hasnt gained anything...but the scale will tell the truth. Its funny you mention the hair. I was just talking to my friend who also has a Yorkie, but he's a toy and is 3 weeks older than Dolce, weighs much more too, probably closer to 4-5 lbs. Anyway, his hair is very full she says, not at all like Dolce's. She actually brought him to the vet this morning to get him groomed because there is so much hair. Did your puppy that had the thin hair, did it ever wind up growing??? I am very nervous that she will never have the coat that Yorkies are known for. Please tell me this isnt true!! Thanks for all your help!!

How old is Dolce? She still seems so tiny. lol About the hair thing, mine that has the thinner hair is only 14 weeks old, so we'll see if it gets any fuller. Our other yorkie, the one with fuller hair, I can't grow her long because it has a slight curl to it and gets all knotted up. I'm so bummin' because I love putting the ponies in their hair. lol

LOL....I am so bumming too. I wanna put her hair in a pony as well. Dolce is 16 1/2 weeks old. I thought by now she would definitely have fuller longer hair. Its my first yorkie so maybe I just have to be patient and it will grow when it wants to. lol Do u have a pic of your baby with the thinner hair?? Do they look like Dolce? Maybe they are distant relatives!! Please let me know how your baby's hair turns out...we'll keep each other posted!!!

Look under 'My Mia' here in my yorkie. I have a small pic of her there. If you want a larger look at her check @ http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/adams_...boys/my_photos I have alot of pics of her there. I think her hair on top looks like your little one's, but hard to tell in these pics. kwim? Let's hope they get some hair on top too so we can do the pony thing. Feel free to e-mail me directly, if you'd like, or we can just share here. My e-mail addy is: r4sons@fidnet.com. Take care!!

Ok, I tried that link and it told me the file was inaccessible. Do I have to sign in or something?? I think you might be right about the hair on top of their heads looking alike. I checked out some of the pics of Mia in the photo gallery and she definitely resembles Dolce. Also I wanted to ask u if the hair on her nose has grown at all? Dolce's hasnt grown there yet either. Thank you for the email address, I will definitely add you to my address book. You can also email me too at MLC1121@yahoo.com. By the way, Mia is absolutely ADORABLE!! I love the little sweatshirt. Dolce falls out of her sweater all the time. It gets to stay on for about.....5 minutes if that!!

OH i could not see the link but i think Dolce is adorable the way she is. Cosita had kind of think (thin) hair on top but it grew later. She is 7 months now. The pic you see oh the left side, she was 15 weeks there. I could not put a bow. I think I could start putting bows about 5 months. It will grow, if it doesn't, Dolce still looks gorgeous!!! -r (just fixed think (see above), I meant to say "thin") Last edited by Raiza; 12-01-2004 at 06:47 PM.

Raiza, thank you so much for all the nice things you said about Dolce. So glad to hear that your baby had thin hair on top too and its better now. Gives me some hope for Dolce. I guess its just selfish me wanting to put bows and barrettes in my "little girls" hair! We'll see what happens with her and I will keep posting pics so you can all see her hair progress!!

Oh Dolce's mom, please, post pictures. We all love looking at them. You know, there are small pins for fewer hair you can buy, so you can start getting Dolce used to them. I have seen Yorkies less hairy but they just look adorable. Here are the pins that I started Cosita with since I could not use anything else. http://trixieandpeanut.com/pet-appar...=fabpetapparel
