| Aww. When I first got Dior i left her in my closet a few times because i didn't know she was in there with me. I would run around the house frantic looking for her and she is having a ball in the closet * No animals were hurt, no letters to the media please, she wasn't in there more than 4 mins *

| I can relate -- when we first got Ben, he was always scaring us with his MIA status. He was so tiny, I did not want him far from me. One day after panic, I realized there were 3 shoes lying side by side and one moved. LOL! He was the same size as the shoe and curled up between them. Hiding in plain sight. After a while, we have learned all of his favorite curling up spots and I haven't had to panic for a while. Good luck with your little one too!

| That is cute; she looks so comfy! When they were pups, I'd find them in places I didn't even realize they could get into, but now that they are grown the each have their favorite spots. So I normally know where to look.

My furkids Donating Member | The only time I lose them is when I go into a room, come out and shut one of them in! ....the girls are ALWAYS behind me like little shadows. I have locked them in rooms so many times! Of course if I'm busy I don't even realize it until I notice they aren't behind me...these little ones are so fast!

| Gracie is never out of my site, unless it is to attack one of the kitties and in that case, I know where she is.... Gracie prefers to be with me rather than be alone, even if it means sleeping on the floor next to me while I play at YT!

| She is usually underfoot but sometimes she needs some down time. She loves my sons room.. Maybe because she can blend in. She even sleeps in there at night. Sometimes in his clothes or with him... She never wants to sleep with me anymore |

| When I had my Max he one time had crawled under my friends nightstand. We were looking everywhere in this 800 sq ft apartment and couldn't find him. Finally he squeaked, he couldn't get himself out. Every now and then I find Alphy locked in my daughters room or the pantry.

| I haven't lost one of the yorkies yet (knock on wood), but when we had a dachschund we lost her one night and couldn't find her for anything. We drove around the neighborhood calling and looking with flashlights. I was so upset. Well, we finally gave up and came home. I went to get something out of one of the bottom cupboards and there she was plain as day. She must have snuck in when someone left the door open, then got shut in. For the life of me I don't know why she didn't make some noise when we were calling her. It was such a relief to find her though. LOL.

| Oh, yes, all the time! Emma likes to hide when we're about to go on a car ride since she hates the car so much. Usually I find her under the sofa, in our walk-in closet, or under the TV stand. The last time she was between the pillows on our bed, where it's dark so I couldn't see her, until she was peeking out as I was frantically calling her name! Milli likes the bed that is black and brown to match our living room. She crawls down in it, between the pillow and the side of the bed, and blends in so I can't see her! We also lose them when closing doors to rooms behind us-I think that's part of having a curious little dog!

| Oh yes, and I usually find her sneaking around quiet as a mouse behind me. Either that or she's in trouble and is hiding. One time, when my parents still had their dog and she was a puppy, we couldn't find her. We looked all over the house and couldn't find her so we searched the neighborhood. At the time, there was a LOT of new construction in the neighborhood, so we were pretty worried about what she might have gotten into. At long last we came home, and hadn't found her. Mom decided to search the house one last time. There she was curled up asleep under the bed all wrapped up by the cat. These two HATED each other, so we never did figure that out. But Mom had been running the vaccuum, so we guess it scared the dog and the cat was protecting her. (ok...I haven't thought about that in a long time, & I just realized how much I still miss those two...both of them are gone now )
