I haven't lost one of the yorkies yet (knock on wood), but when we had a dachschund we lost her one night and couldn't find her for anything. We drove around the neighborhood calling and looking with flashlights. I was so upset. Well, we finally gave up and came home. I went to get something out of one of the bottom cupboards and there she was plain as day. She must have snuck in when someone left the door open, then got shut in. For the life of me I don't know why she didn't make some noise when we were calling her. It was such a relief to find her though. LOL.
