| Hi from Brandi & Hercules! Hi! My name is Brandi and I just got my first yorkie last week. He's now 11 weeks, 2 pounds, and his name is Hercules! This is my first pet dog ever, and I chose a yorkie because I have ALWAYS wanted one. He's absolutely adorable and we're working really hard on the housetraining right now. I'm sure I'll have lots and lots of questions for all of you yorkie experts out there, so thanks ahead of time!! I'll be posting pictures quite often (once I figure out how to) because I love my baby and love taking pictures of him (like all of you!). |

| Welcome, Brandi and Hurcules!! I envy you the "puppy experiences" you will have!! Our Toto is 16 months and it has been the most wonderful experience of our lives to watch her mature! The really neat thing is that most days, if we didn't know better, we would swear that she is still that tiny little furball we first brought home a year ago!! Lots of knowledgable people here and eager to offer tips and advice! Can't wait to see your little guy's pics!!

| Toto's Mom - I am loving the puppy experiences with Hercules right now, but I must admit that I can't wait for him to be housetrained. Or at least almost housetrained. He's actually doing pretty well so far, but it'll be nice when he starts to get the hang of going outside. But he's been great so far. And everytime I take him outside people ask me about him, because he's so adorable!! I wanted to tell you guys about our new idea in working on housetraining him. We live in an apartment, on the third floor. So we decided to build a little box to put some sod in, making him a "mini park" to do his business on. And we stapled chicken wire up around the balcony, otherwise he could probably fall through! I'm going to get some sod today for it, so we'll see how he does soon! This way he'll continue to learn to go outside and in the grass, which is what we're hoping he'll learn. |

| bld2751: you can upload the pictures to the Photo Gallery, then link the pictures to whatever post you would like. The Photo Gallery accepts pictures of all sizes, then it resizes them down automatically. Give it a try and let me know if you have any problems! |

| Great idea with the sod!! Let us know if it works! Although Toto only uses the wee wee pads, I know lots who do let them go outside! Wish some of them were close enough to us so Toto could have someone to play with! It has been rainy, cold and snowy for about three days now, and we have been trying to not take her outside very much ... we are so afraid that she will get a cold! If your sod idea works ... that will reduce the outside time for little Hercules too!

| Fast Eddie - Where's the Photo Gallery that I can upload the pictures to? Sorry to be a pain, but I can't find it! Toto's Mom - I'll be sure to let you know how his little area on the balcony works. Turns out that sod is extremely out of season right now, because I can't find any! We've put down a pee pad with leaves over top of it for now. One place told us that they will be getting some sod in Friday, so hopefully I can switch over then. |
