Toto's Mom - I am loving the puppy experiences with Hercules right now, but I must admit that I can't wait for him to be housetrained. Or at least almost housetrained. He's actually doing pretty well so far, but it'll be nice when he starts to get the hang of going outside. But he's been great so far. And everytime I take him outside people ask me about him, because he's so adorable!!
I wanted to tell you guys about our new idea in working on housetraining him. We live in an apartment, on the third floor. So we decided to build a little box to put some sod in, making him a "mini park" to do his business on. And we stapled chicken wire up around the balcony, otherwise he could probably fall through! I'm going to get some sod today for it, so we'll see how he does soon! This way he'll continue to learn to go outside and in the grass, which is what we're hoping he'll learn.
