| ![]() Dog books are extremely popular! Pet lovers love the stories and photos! That's a very good idea, and I know it would sell. Like the Marley book, and he's even written a childrens' series of picture books about Marley's explotes. You have great stories, adventures, and pictures. . . definate buy/read! Finding a publisher wouldn't be difficult at all. Great looking porcupine. That poor dog, my gosh, I didn't realize how dangerous those quills could be.

| ![]() aww, that poor pitt bull! how ugly!! Is it true that porky needles keep going into your skin farther and father? We one time had a porky in our shed. never seen one live before then. Hopefully he never meets with Jack or Eddie, or you may be visiting the vet!! |

Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | ![]() I read one article that said they're scaly under a microscope, so perhaps they would work their way in a little bit. Ouch. The same article said you can safely remove a few from your dog with a pliars, but if they have as many as that pit bull a vet should anesthetize him.

| ![]() I used to have a husky who would tangle with the porcupines every so often but he'd only wind up with a half dozen or a dozen quills. They are incredibly hard to pull out. We tried once - they're almost like having a hook stuck in you. We wound up taking him to the vet to have them removed. From what I understand they will actually work the way in over time and that's when they can really do some damage. My husky didn't seem to learn either - got hit several different times. Our other dogs never had a problem with them. They are kinda cute though - the porcupines. |
