Awwwwww, how cute!!!!!! I never seen them in shorter cuts! They are beautiful either way!

I did have Lillie trimmed last time she went to the groomers, more evened out then anything. But she don't have the hair like maddie does either.

i think a summer cut would look absolute adorable on her I have my little Zoey Mae a Schnauzer cut! My hubby loves it! He said he was glad I did it when he was not home. He thinks we should keep her cute that way. Her hair is so thick and she stays so much cleaner now.

LOL look at the little peanut in the bed !! She's soooooo cute !! I wish I had the nerve to cut Chanel down that short again (the 1st time was a booboo lol) and just seeing these pictures is leaning me towards just saying go for it !!

Hi Denise...Maddie would look adorable in any hairdo! I get Maddie shaved pretty close on her body, but I leave the hair on her head, legs and tail long. Last spring I had her clipped really short on the body as it grows so fast. I'll be doing Libby much the same way, but I may leave a little skirt on her. These pics were taken last year of Maddie after getting her summer cut. I do think it's much cooler and sometimes I just stick something white on her to reflect the sun, rather than having that black exposed to soak it in.

I'm wanting to cut Joey down too Denise. I'm just so afraid to. I love the long hair on the Yorkies. I know it will grow back, but I love his long beautiful hair until I take him outside and he pees on it....LOL I like Sugar's too. Still plenty of hair, but shorter. I would want his 2 -3 inches long all over I think. Definitely don't want it shaved.

Maybe after you cut Maddie's I'll get the nerve up too.

I struggled with the same decision for about 6 months or so before I finally did it. I am really glad I did for her sake. She seems so much happier now. She is even more cuddly because she is not so hot all the time. Your baby has some beautiful hair so I know this will be a tough decision for you. I really like her hair now but I am sure she will look adorable cut short. Good luck with your decision. I know how hard it can be.

I remember when you did Sophies' It looks sooo great. Yes, its a hard decision. Just found out I'm going to the Michigan yorkie fair, so I'd hate for her to get a bad hair cut right before that...lol But I think it will turn out cute too!!!

Well for goodness sake- I totally missed this thread! Thanks for the complements on Sugar. Maddie is so pretty she'll look great no matter what but I love the puppy cuts- especially if you dress them which of course you do.
