| Introducing Princess Sake We had an interesting experience with our new Yorkie - we purchased from a reputable and wonderful breeder...fell in love, named him Max-a-Million and started the routine of puppy life...went to the breeder's veterinarian for first shots, etc and was shocked to find out that Max was a Maxine....we had all missed that this was a female and not a male! So we went back to the name we had wanted for a female ~ Princess Sake, Ruler of Lovealot.

| The breeder didn't know the difference? It's a funny story, but I can't imagine a breeder not knowing. =Was the correct sex listed on the registration papers? |

| We are just now getting over gender issues :) It was such a shock and to have the breeder miss it... yes he is listed as a male on the AKC papers! (females were more $$) was even more stunning - haven't told her yet My husband wanted a male and I wanted a female (I won without even trying) and Sake won him over - he is MADLY in love with a small dog he said he'd NEVER own - LOL.....I'm thrilled and have never been so in love with a dog before - and the wardrobe possiblities grew exponentially !

| I can't imagine a breeder making this mistake either. Have you told them yet? I'm sure you'll want your papers and the ones you have are no good for your dog so you'll have to let them know. If that's her in your avatar...she's a doll! |

| She's georgeous! Congruatulation on your new puppy, on the puppy being a girl like you wanted, and on your hubby falling madly in love with SAKE!

You need to notify them and get the correct paperwork. she is a doll, and I can't imagine that the breeder would expect you to return the dog, but you do need to get the right papers.. | |
