| I'm thanking my lucky stars that we signed up for pet insurance. Mojito is perfectly healthy so far (fingers crossed, all!) but it amazes me how expensive it is each time we go to the vet! (I signed up for insurance last week so the policy goes into effect next week and we're paying out-of-pocket til then.) I think we've spent something like 500 on two visits. (I must say the vet is very nice and we've gotten the last of his shots - DA2PPV and rabies, a fecal exam, the kennel cough nose thingy and a six-month supply of frontline and one year of heartguard.) It still hurts, though -- OUCH!! One good thing, though -- we get to take him to complimentary puppy play group through the vet's office. It's hysterical to watch the little and big pups play together. Mojito was the only Yorkie in a group of six and by the end of the class he was POUNCING on the bigger dogs. Typical Yorkie - they have no idea how small they reall are! All best, Mojito & Irmi |
