Actually, it didn't take him long AT ALL! He learned the "sit" command (although that is SUCH an EASY one for them to learn) in a day. The "speak" command he got down in a couple of days, and the "walk, walk, walk" and "spin around" he learned in just a couple of days as well. He is just a really smart boy, I am SO PROUD of him - I couldn't teach my Mini Dachshund ANYTHING! LOL

Aww thanks girl!!! Teddy will come around though - it just takes a little work, but they'll soon learn that when they do a trick, they get a treat...and once they've got that figured out, they'll be wanting to do TRICKS all day long! lol

OH GIRL - I know EXACTLY what you mean, LOL. Stedman is the same way! He WILL actually speak though, AND sit when you tell him - regardless of whether or not you have a treat in your hand...BUT, he REFUSES to "walk, walk, walk" or, "spin around" if you don't give him something for it, LOL. I guess THOSE commands are just a little too much work to do if you don't get anything in return lol

Yeah, for some strange reason my videos and Drop Shots just DO NOT get along Every time I upload new vids there, it does that! It is so weird!!

And OMG - Jazzie does the "pre-silent bark" too???? Isn't that just THE CUTEST??? I thought Stedman was the only one that did this - me and my husband ALWAYS crack up at this - it is sooo cute!! My husband always says, "Well at least he's TRYING to speak - but sometimes nothin' comes out" LOL
