| Is it wrong for boy Yorkies to wear bows? Yesterday when I had Ramsey bathed I had her to put a green bow in his hair so I could get a picture of him. Well my boyfriend had a fit, and told me boy dogs dont wear bows but I thought it was cute. What do you all think? |

| I have seen the most adorable "male" bows on the Internet. Of course male doggies can wear bows.

| My hubby was not a fan of bows on our Luigi, but after I bought some off of perfectdogbows.com of some of my hubby's favorite sports teams, then he didn't mind. Luigi now has Ohio state, Cleveland Browns, Miami Dolphins and tons more. They arre all sooo cute!!! You can even customize your own with her- some more masculine looking bows. In my opinion-they are some of the best quality bows!!!!! Here are a few with Luigi in his Miami Dolphins bow!!!!! Please don't mind his one floppy ear that happened all of a sudden!! | While I didn't initially like Yoda wearing bows, I came to grew to like it. It can keep his hair out of his eyes, and it's cute. Everyone we meet thinks he's a girl anyways... Though I would say to try to avoid the pink color bows if you have a boy, that's just my personal preference though. Yoda has 'boy color' bows, like in blue, green, and he also has clear clips for his hair. |

| If I could dress Fred up, I'd do it ALL the way! Blue bows and everything.. but I can't. My boyfriend thinks frilly stuff like bows (even if they're blue) takes away from the masculinity of a dog. His exact words " Dogs have pride, too!" |

| There is nothing wrong there . IMO , it is only between the ears of peoples that a boy Yorkie , Shih Tzu etc , etc can't wear a bow . These peoples too often think " what the peoples will say if I walk my male and he have a bow ?" Last edited by Diego; 05-13-2005 at 04:26 AM. |

| I love boyish looking bows on boys and put them on mine all the time! My husband didn't like it a first....but he got used to it. If you don't use bows or bands etc, to keep the hair out of their eyes you'd probably have to keep the hair short around the face so he can see.

| I put bows on my little boy. When I first started my husband would just say "oh poor giz". I only get "manly" looking bows. Phyllis |

| I didn't know it was 'okay' for boys to wear bows and I cut Pip's hair short only last week!! So now I want to let it grow again so I can put a bow in his hair because I love to dress him up! Something else I have learned of YT - I love this site! |
