While I didn't initially like Yoda wearing bows, I came to grew to like it. It can keep his hair out of his eyes, and it's cute. Everyone we meet thinks he's a girl anyways...
Though I would say to try to avoid the pink color bows if you have a boy, that's just my personal preference though. Yoda has 'boy color' bows, like in blue, green, and he also has clear clips for his hair.
