| Your baby is so cute. Having no hair on the legs could be a sign he is a red legged Yorkie. There are members here who will definately be able to tell you. Do a search above and put in red legged Yorkie. There have been many posts regarding this. You should be able to find them. Buddy is red on his head and legs but is not one. I know their hair grows very slowly. Whatever he is enjoy him. He's a doll. Carol & Buddy |

| I think he looks cute. They do go through an ugly duckling period. Try supplements like Missing Link to help his coat? I am not real expert in this; just a suggestion. You know, I think he is really cute.

What kind of shampoo and conditioner are you using? These can make a difference also and so can his diet. Carol

| You are welcome. Here is Siu Pao's picture as requested by PM. He is only 5 months and he is 7+ pounds. His coat grows very slow and till now, isn't very long still. I have never cut his fur yet. Try buying a PH balanced dog shampoo for senior dogs as they are milder and for conditioner, I use human hair conditioner and I am also trying out Emu Oil both for his coat and it also helps sooths skin. What you feed them is also important. Your baby looks tiny. How much does he weigh?

| Do what you can for your baby and love him for what he is. You and him will find it much happier that way. Every yorkie is different. Different coat, different colour, different body structure, different size so love him for being him I have people telling me my baby is not yorkie when we go out. I don't even bother correcting them now.

This is very true. No two are alike and not every Yorkie is show quality. Most are not! Enjoy your little one. He is adorable. Carol & Buddy

| My boy has very slow growing coat. Today, I trimmed the fuzzy hair which left him with hardly any hair. I didn't touch the face too much nor his head. He looks a lot like your pup and mine is 17 weeks. Both his parents have fine, thin silky coats. My boy has very thin hair that is longer at the body but none on his legs........it's weird but that is how it is. His hair doesn't matt and is so soft I wish it was my own......lol I have been giving him missing link each morning with a teaspoon of wet food. I see a NICE coat coming in his back!
