The hair will never be thick it will remain silky, shiney and fine. The hair will grow on the legs but for now "he will be a stick leg man".......lol... because the leg hair is slow to grow, but after a year or a lil longer, it grows longer and silky, except at the paws, they will always looked trimmed. The top of the ears never grow long either, only the sides do. This is only guessing, but if he follows his mom, who he looks like now, this will be his pattern. A tan top of head and legs with a gold nose and tips all the way around.
This is only a guess of course but it sure will be so fun to watch the progress whether Im right or wrong!

Well, that is nice to know.........thanks. He does resemble his momma very much. His head is turning tan and has the gold nose.......sorta like a ring. His back is a super shiny, slick black. I LOVE his coloring...........it'll be fun to watch his coloring and coat in a year or so. He's still the same sweet little man you let me adopt. Hasn't grown much........just weighs more but it's hard to believe it due to his petite everything......lol

This little guy has really complemented our household. I couldn't be any happier with him

They all go thru a funny phase where the hair changes - your little guy may have a mix in him... but that won't ever take away from his personality. We just have to love our pets for what they are, and not what we want them to be - and as long as he's a great little guy - that's all that matters.

His hair will change as he gets older and maybe he'll never really have the 'coat' you want - but too tell you the truth - if he's healthy - that's what matters - I'd rather have a healthy dog over any show-type looking dog anyday -

and remember - beauty is in the eye of the beholder & Love is LOVE
