| A New Addition To My Family Hi My name is Bill and I just joined this site today. I presently have a 8 year old Yorkie named Lucy and a 12 year old Bichon named Medusa. I am in the process of thinking of getting another Yorkie. Since I already have two female dogs, should I get a male or female yorkie puppy? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Lucy was in the family first and about two years ago Medusa joined us. Both females get along fine and I don't want to upset the apple cart. What do you think? Thanks! |

| A New Family Addition Thanks All For Getting Back To Me. There Seems To Be Mixed Responses In Whether To Get A Male Or Female. My Girls Are Spayed And Im Not Sure If Lucy Who Is Attached To My Hip Will Welcome Another Sister Or A New Brother. Medusa (the Bichon) Wouldn't Care Either Way. She's Very Laid Back Unlike Lucy. Any Further Thoughts? |

My furkids Donating Member | I prefer girls too...Usually an adult knows that an animal is a baby...she might not like her right away (I don't think she would like a boy right away either) but, she shouldn't hurt her...I had Sadie for 2 1/2 yrs and then brought another little girl home...Sadie's nose was out of joint for a while and she did growl at Lillie but she never hurt her...took Sadie a couple of weeks to warm up to Lillie...now they are best buddies...well almost best buddies!!
