Jack's surgery was a miracle. The vet told me in advance that he would probably need 6 months of physical therapy and warm baths to recover fully, but he was practically 100 percent at his 1-month checkup. The vet told me he didn't need physical therapy. And he hasn't favored the leg since. I should knock on wood because it's just two wires holding his knee together! Thanks again! Oh, and as much as I TRIED not to accept donations, sneaky YTers sent Jack a care package that included a check for $125. I accepted it on condition that he is now partly owned by all YTers! Good luck on your pup's recovery!

| I read the threads about Jack and saw the Christmas card. The vet will be thrilled and I think you deserve a special Christmas card too. A lot of people would've let Jack be passed on to someone else. It shows a great deal of character to take care of him the way you have. I'll bet Jack gives you "thank you" sugar every day!

| What a before & after shot! It's always nice to hear a 'happy ending' story like yours & Jacks. What a happy looking little fellow he is in the last picture!! I always like looking at all your pics....so neat to see them in the snow. This coming winter is Snickers first & I'm hoping we get at least one good snow this year so that I can see him play in it! Oh, and yes....I think your vet will LOVE the card! |
