Pinkerton Loves Paul..It is funny b/c Pinkerton knows what time Paul usually comes home from work. And when he is not home when expected he starts acting silly....It is amazing how these animals..really little people with fur..can understand things..and project emotions.

Our Lillie is pretty much equally attached to my husband and me, so if one of us leaves, she's ok to be with the other. However if we both leave, she will run to the front of the house, where there is a big bay window, and sit and watch us back out of the drive way. It makes me so sad to see her sitting there. Often when we get home (we never leave her alone for long - maybe time enough for us to go out to dinner, etc.) she is still sitting there in the window! My question is, does she sit there the whole tome we are gone, or does she somehow sense when we are appoaching home?

Welcome to the site! I noticed you're from Yorkshire!!! Are there tons of Yorkies there? When we were in Europe, I kept commenting how I wanted to visit Yorkshire, England to see my dog's homeland.

HAHAHA!! That sounds like something crazy I would do!! In fact I DO play hide-and-seek with Otis. I throw his toy far far away, and when he's fetching it, I run off and hide. Sometimes he won't find me and makes this exasperated sound. It's sooo funny! I know, I'm a sick mom.

LOL, poor Otis! We should try playing that kind of hide-and-seek sometime. Does Otis' sound like a whimper/sigh? I can just imagine Otis wandering all over looking for his Momma!

Sometimes he'll stand there for a good three minutes, like he can smell me in the room; he just can't see me. Then he'll sit down, scratch himself, stand back up, look around, make a noise like "hmmwerfff." Then when I finally reveal myself, he goes hog wild.

^^^ hahahah!! Let's see...I'm hiding under a blanket, behind the subwoofer, under Mike's computer desk, behind a partially opened door, behind this built-in cabinet thing, in the bathtub, under the pee pad....
