| got him home! he's absolutely wonderful he weighs 2lb 10oz @7 weeks. House feels really strange, like having a baby in it again, which i suppose yes we have! Only had him 2 days and he didnt fancy eating til i tried chicken and rice! He's had beef and Eukanuba today, so looks like his appetite is back now! but he seems to have trouble with hard food even the puppy ones, he just sucks them breaks them up a bit and spits them out, he doesnt seem to want to chew them properly and swallow. Now we need to sort out 'night-time' he has the run of the kitchen with his bed and toys and water in, but if he wakes and noone's there he cries (wow... how can something soooo small make such a big noise!!) during the day he wants to be near someone when he's sleeping and will lean on a foot or anything he can get near thats 'alive' Not sure what to do at night, whether to try and ignore his cries (very hard) or to go down and settle him so he goes back to sleep. Either way we are sooooo pleased with him, will take more piccys soon. x |

| Sounds like your sweet Buddy is settling in well! We had a problem with Toto eating her dry food and discovered that she was teething and her little mouth was sore! We give her the Royal Canin Yorkshire 28 now that she's an adult and she loves it. I don't think it's quite as hard as some of the others. They also have a puppy food.

| Congrats on little Buddy! Yes, you do have a new baby in the house. You both will have to settle into a routine that you are both comfortable with. Bo wanted to be close to us too when he was very young and that's part of the bonding process. Sounds like you have a great start! Any questions that you have and can't get answered with searches, just post a new thread. There's a wealth of wisdom and experience on YT.com.
