| Lexi's real name is Princess Alexis Lynn. I wanted to name my next daughter Alexis but was told a month before I got Lexi I couldn't have anymore children. So Lexi is our new baby.

| We got Artie from a Breeder on the Internet - Yorkiebabies.com and she named him "Sir Arthur" on the Advertisement/picture so I kept it because he seemed like a man trapped in a Yorkie's body. His AKC. registered name is Sir Arthur Lee Merlino after our last name. Abigail is the name of a stuffed Teddy Bear that I got in Hawaii as a gift and every time Artie saw it he went wild since it was mine and it was the only toy he was not allowed to play with. So naturally when we got her last week that's what I named her. And Artie goes wild when he hears her name being called too. Her registered name is Princess Abigail Merlino. Since I got her for him to play/mate with it seemed only natural as a couple they would have the same last names as us? Sounds corny but it has a lot of meaning they are like our children since we don't have any. |

| My Yorkie Buddy was named by my step daughter. On the way home from picking him up we were both trying to think of a cute name. She was looking at billboard sighns and coming up with some real corny names, then she seen a Bud Lite sign and decided to name him Buddy since her dad drinks Bud Lite. My husbands Yorkie Jake was named by me. I always liked that country song "If I Die Before I wake, Feed Jake". |

| We named her Reese because she looked like the color of a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup. She finally knows her name after two weeks! WHOOHOOO! Brady's Mom, are you from Massachusetts? I love the name Brady, my friend just named her Maltese Brady, but he is a boy, lol. This was a good idea for a post!

| Most of you already know ... Patrick and I travel so much sometimes we actually forget what state we are in!! I have gotten up and bounced off more motel furniture than I care to think about!! After awhile you do forget where you are! At home I can walk around the house in the dark like a cat without a light on! Anyway .... seems like I was constantly telling Patrick "Toto, you're not in Kansas anymore" ... so, naturally when we first began the Yorkie Quest we knew that when we finally found him/her the name would definitely be Toto!! As it turned out, we found a girl and crowned the Princess .... Tyava's Out of Oz, Toto!!

| My husband was never going to have a dog in the house but I hounded (lol) him for 5 years and finally he broke down. His name is Pete so it's a play on that too Up until the minute I went into get her from the breeders he was insisting she was gonna be a Pain In The Ass. Well guess who has the pee pee pad in his office and won't hear one bad thing mentioned about HIS baby??? She's not even close to being a true Pita but it's cute anyhow. I thought we were being original but it turns out there's a Pita on here and I've had other people who know of or have had dogs named that! I thought I made it up!! Oh well..... |

| When I was researching yorkies, a website referred to them as something growing off of chewbaca's left arm. I never could get the comparison out of my head. His full name is Chewbaca Charles. Charles is after his daddy. But everyone calls him Chewie for short. Its worked out great because he chews on EVERYTHING! |

| Everyone always thinks we named Napoleon after the Historical figure, lol...but I am such a dork-I named him after the movie "Napoleon Dynamite"...I just love that movie! His registered name is Windsong's Lil Dynamite. We call him Napoleon-mostly its shortened to Poli. I have no idea where I came up with Lindsay's name. She just looked like a Lindsay. I still haven't come up with a registered name for her yet.

| Since I was little, I always said that when I had a girl her name was going to be Desiree. I have 2 sons. When I decided I wanted to get a Yorkie, I immediately said I wanted a girl and her name was going to be Desiree (Desi). |
