| Molly's first bath.. Oh dear! Well, as I squirted Molly with the hose pipe a while ago I figured she hates water.. but as I put her in the bath and was wetting her she was extremely good (of course she struggled a little bit but settled when I told her to). She seemed more 'omg!!' then anything so she was afraid to move. As I expected when we tried to dry her with a towel she scampered everywhere, tryna get away to get the horrible wet stuff off her! ... 1st pic: Her sitting still for a bit. 2nd pic: ^^ ditto. ... When we got downstairs she ran like a lunatic across the living room (followed by us chasing her to grab her!) and started digging at her bed and rubbing herself over it in a mad frenzy so I grabbed her and made soothing noises whilst wrapping her.. 3rd pic: ... in the blue towel... ... she was shivering so badly and looked terrified so I held her really close to me and stayed for about 15 minutes and I gradually felt that her shivering was decreasing until it stopped. At this point she was quite sleepy and seemed more relaxed so I lay on her bed near the fire with her close to me so she could dry off. Soon after she fell asleep so I left her there on her own. When she woke she had beautifullly soft, dry fur! I love those moments where you know you're really looking after your baby and you wish that you were them! It was like a special moment, holding her shivering body close to me, and I helped her get warm and relax. I don't think I'm a bad mummy! |

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | Awwwwwwwwwwww.....you're a GOOD mom....that was so cute to read....I remember Chanels first bath and seeing her wet for the very first time...I was in AWE ...lol - they look SO PITIFUL that race after the bath is called the FREAK DANCE and I think most yorkies do it for the drama effect...they are so silly after a bath...both my girls do the same thing and one of mine even LOVES her bath...so in her case...the AFTER BATH DANCE is called the ''HAPPY DANCE' She looks so cute wet ! |

| The 'after bath' dance is the best part of a yorkie bath! Both my boys go beserk and chase each other all over the house, whilst they are rubbing their bodies and flipping over at every chance. So funny.

| I love it too. It is the best part. I do one at a time and they both do it. Sampson talks the whole time he is rubbing his face. I am hoping I can get him to do it other times to. I keep telling him to speak. So funny. The other day it was hot so I turned on the sprinkler. It was new to them so they had to check it out. They seems to love it. Also got to do the freak dance all over the yard. Big fun. Then later a real bath for each. They slept real well later. Big day.
