Well, as I squirted Molly with the hose pipe a while ago I figured she hates water.. but as I put her in the bath and was wetting her she was extremely good (of course she struggled a little bit but settled when I told her to). She seemed more 'omg!!' then anything so she was afraid to move. As I expected when we tried to dry her with a towel she scampered everywhere, tryna get away to get the horrible wet stuff off her! ...
1st pic: Her sitting still for a bit.
2nd pic: ^^ ditto.
... When we got downstairs she ran like a lunatic across the living room (followed by us chasing her to grab her!) and started digging at her bed and rubbing herself over it in a mad frenzy so I grabbed her and made soothing noises whilst wrapping her..
3rd pic: ... in the blue towel...
... she was shivering so badly and looked terrified so I held her really close to me and stayed for about 15 minutes and I gradually felt that her shivering was decreasing until it stopped. At this point she was quite sleepy and seemed more relaxed so I lay on her bed near the fire with her close to me so she could dry off. Soon after she fell asleep so I left her there on her own. When she woke she had beautifullly soft, dry fur!

I love those moments where you know you're really looking after your baby and you wish that you were them! It was like a special moment, holding her shivering body close to me, and I helped her get warm and relax.

I don't think I'm a bad mummy!
