On Jack's hair....you could try the supplements...he's 4 years old right ? The Missing Link is one I hear good things about....Also...Omega Fatty Acids are good for the hair...

Great advice, Villette and Jaspermom. Now I feel guilty for trying to stir up trouble! Well, I do enjoy it so! Maybe just a little bit guilty.

I had never even thought about supplements. I will look into the stuff you recommended.

Jack is probably closer to 7, Villette. Rescue lady told me 5, but one vet estimated 7 and another estimated 7-9. I can't BELIEVE you thought he was 4!

hahaha - you're so funny...I remembered the rescue lady...but didn't know the vet's guessed him to be approx 7 years old...he looks like a baby still ...and I bet you have some luck with the supplements...I've used only the Liperderm but seeing little Wosies hair now...it may be worth trying the Missing Link

Wosie is so precious. I know what you mean about their awkward stages. Stewie had one of those at about 5 mos. His hair looked like wire and wouldn't grow, but now it's long and silky. Wosie's little tongue is just too cute! Thanks!! I have to credit her overbite for the tongue action, but it just makes her all the more precious, doesn't it?

I thought Wosie would be that way forever too, and I love her so much it did not bother me a whole lot (until I looked at dogs like Villette's,lol). I am not really superficial when it comes to looks in a pup, and her spirit sure makes up for whatever her coat may lack! But now that she is 9 months, she is really coming together, and I am really excited at the changes! This is Wosie in November and then this week. Quite the difference, eh?
