| Dandruff doggie Help! My Ginger has the WORST case of dandruff. She’s itching too. I’ve been waiting for a callback from her vet since yesterday and I want to act on this ASAP. I’ve read it’s possible she’s not getting enough fat in her diet? So I cooked her up a scrambled egg with olive oil last night. It’s just so dry here. Anyone have any suggestions, or a similar situation?

| I have heard that a humidifier might help with dandruff. |

| It could also be the shampoo you are using. Tiger had lots of white flakes and so I switched his shampoo and he is now fine. |

| What food is she eating? To include snacks. Does it have corn, wheat or soy in it?

| hey there, I am also having hte same problem with my 11 month old Yorkie, her skin is real dry and flacky. I dont see her scratching a lot though. but My breeder said it was probably from my electric heat and suggested putting vegtable oil in her food. As well as the vet. But that is deff. not working, but you could give it a try. I really think that mine just has a dry skin condtition. If you find something that works please post a thread and let me know.
