hey there, I am also having hte same problem with my 11 month old Yorkie,her skin is real dry and flacky. I dont see her scratching a lot though. but My breeder said it was probably from my electric heat and suggested putting vegtable oil in her food. As well as the vet. But that is deff. not working, but you could give it a try. I really think that mine just has a dry skin condtition. If you find something that works please post a thread and let me know.
