I believe that some things were just meant to be. You wanted this baby and someone else took him and then you tried to find another and that didn't feel right and now you have this baby (Jack) back. He was sooo meant to be Eddie's brother. So SWEET!! CONGRATULATIONS to you all

Don't worry about the size difference. Widget is a little over 4lbs, and Dublin was over 10 the last time we checked!

So here is a size comparison, the two of them 'sharing' a hoof (if you look closely you'll see Dublin is trying to pull the 'ol snatch-and-run!), and note how Widget kicks Dublin's butt when they wrestle!!!

Just don't be surprised if they never get that whole share thing quite down... I think they enjoy chasing each other for toys more than they do acutally playing with them!

Great pics, Sherry Lynn, and encouraging! That looks like the same size difference between these two. Eddie seems to be doing better. He's not playing, exactly, but he's not harrassing him as much either.

Didn't we already decide that Cuddles can buy his OWN dang alarm clock? Actually, all he needs is for Kelly to show him how to use it, lol, but you know MEN; they will NEVER ask for directions!! LOLOL

Mike, I was thinking that Jack might be the first dog, (your $200 find) and I am so excited that he is the ONE! I am really thrilled with how he looks and how he interacts with Eddie! Congratulations!!

I had to look this thread up, because I missed it all and just saw the thread about Jack and his surgery. So I wanted to come read the home coming. Im so glad you opened your home and hearts up to Jack. That makes me so so Happy.

My heart just popped out of my chest,,,,, I've been sick and not on all that much. What did I miss? What happened to Jack? Is he ok? Did something happen to him? Now I have to go back and read to see what happened!

Here it is.Jack has a dislocated knee joint as the result of an old injury, and is having surgery.

Eddie is still learning how to SHARE his toys, but there's no open hostility. The funniest part was when we threw Eddie's Kong for Jack. Jack tentatively headed toward it, but Eddie leaped off the couch, slid across the wood floor and slammed his head into the entertainment center. Eddie won the race but had a sore noggin to remember it. Never in my life did I think I could look at Eddie and see a BIG dog, but he's HUGE compared to Jack. He goes 8-plus pounds to Jack's 4.

I really appreciate all the comments. I've read every word more than once. And it's comforting to know that we're not going through anything that a lot of you haven't been through before and survived.

And I see why you all complain about trying to get two to pose at the same time. This is as good as I could do. Jack still needs a bath. That's on tap for tomorrow.

Good for you. He is gorgeous. I'm sure they will all be best buds in no time.

Congrats. He found a great home.
