Meet Jack, Eddie's brother 4 Attachment(s) Well, maybe. The rescue people called back this morning and said the people who adopted the 5-year-old male couldn't spend enough time with him. He was lonely and whined a lot, and they turned him back within the one week time limit. He's 4 pounds, adorable and seems to have a very good temperment. His name is/was Cuddles. We'll see about that. He looks like Jack to me. He's been passed around his entire life and abandoned by his last owners. He's dainty compared to Eddie, so he's not going to be Eddie's running buddy. But I'll seriously consider keeping him if they're good together around the house. This is all about getting a companion for Eddie. Kelly and her mom love him. He's soft and tiny. Eddie and Sophia are overwhelming the poor little guy, and he put Sophia in her place once already. Otherwise, he's very cuddly and nice. What do you think? |
I think Jack looks just like Hallie! OMG OMG OMG OMG I LOVE him! I hope Eddie loves him too! Awwwwwwww so sweet! I am so happy for you! |
I think he's cute. I feel sorry for him. oh and I think the people who returned him are irresponsible. |
Aw he is a adorable! I would adopt him. |
He's gorgeous!!! Poor baby just needs someone to love him! He won't take up much space .... let him stay, please?? ;) I'll bet he and Eddie and Sophia will be best buds in no time. He will just have to learn to play! :p .... and he does look like Jack! |
He looks very sweet! He needs a good home and I know that you'll provide that for him. |
1 Attachment(s) too cute!! He's a keeper!! Small just like my Gizmo! |
Awwww He is so cute...please let him stay :) |
Oh, I am so excited for you. I just saw this and I thought it was a joke before I read it. Mike and Kelly he is adorable and I so hope Eddy and Sophie like him. This is a great situation that you can try it out and see if it works. I can't get over how precious he is....I have to tell Megan. |

Well, coming from someone who has rescue too!!! I was very nervous about getting another for luigi, but it has been the best thing ever!!! Brasco was sooo tiny and "dainty" and I was sooo scared that he would not be able to keep up with Luigi!!! And it did take a few weeks for him to come around, but boy oh boy, he sure does give Weeg a run for his money now!! Brasco was in 4 homes before he came to be with us--his new forever home!!! And it DID take alot of adjusting on all ends. Poor little guy didn't know where to potty, where to eat, to sleep, all that good stuff!! But I truly believe he is sooo happy now and Luigi is too!!! They love to play togehter, they rough house, chase each other, cuddle together and have to be touching when sleeping!!! All I can say is follow your heart and do what you think is right!!! But, if you do decide to keep him, you won't be dissappointed IMO!!! Good Luck!!! By the way, Brasco is not so "Dainty" anymore!! LOL |
oh guish , i hope it all works out for him . and you. I sure wouldn't pass him up. It would be too much love going to waste. crossing fingers for ya. |
Yes Mike, that little sweetheart needs the love you and Kelly can give him. |
Coming from someone with 10 rescue's GO FOR IT! This little guy is just adorable and sweet today but I will bet you a million zillion dollars that this little dude can take care of himself and will give everyone a run for their $$$$$. Trust me that you will feel a very special bond with him because of how unfair life has been for him but he manages to still love. Yes, it is a little more difficult than when you start with a puppy (because you are more forgiving of puppy mistakes) but you will be amazed at how great you will feel when the little dude starts getting it. Trust me, Bella is 3#'s and runs with the big dogs (top one is 14#s) and she gets her way in everything. Right now, little dude is just scared and all rescues go through a honeymoon period but then slowly they start coming out of their shell and the true spirit comes through. If you want to change his name go for it. I always tried to respect every rescue that came in and I knew their names but somehow with a few of them the name slowly got changed and no one had a problem (Moose got his name because he thought he was bigger than all the other dogs 4#s and his first name was Carusso). Plus with some that came from the pound we never knew their names and they adjusted. Please really think about this because you guys would be so perfect for Little Dude and he deserves a great home after being bounced around so many places - how unfair and cruel. But please make sure this is a life time commitment (I know you will do this but it has to be said) because we all owe something back and what a wonderful way to do this with Little Dude. Alison (Edie's Mom) got to meet 3 of my rescues and I know she would steal Moose in a New York second..and Little Dude looks just like Moose... |
Thanks for the comments, everyone. I'm stuck at work and can't write more, but I'm definitely leaning toward keeping him. At worst, I think I'd give him to Kelly's mom, who loves him and is moving out. But Eddie seems to really like him. If Jack can put up with Eddie, I think Eddie's got a brother. I'll post more pics when we have a chance to bathe him and comb him out. He looked a little ratty to me, but I'm not used to a longer haired Yorkie. |
Congrats, he is so precious.... |
