| Thank you matese. We are looking forward to it. Reading everything we can, watching youtube videos. Buying puppy things. Talked with our Vet who happens to own a yorkie so he is extremely familiar. We are going to be as ready as we can be. But we must wait until she can be picked up so we might as well spend our time learning all we can. Having trained blonds, I mean Golden Retrievers, I have some experience... Can you say squirrel!!! Thanks again! Ron |

| Make sure you puppy proof your home. Get all cable wires, lamp wires off the floor where puppy can reach them, these are mischievous little monkeys, if you can't see them they are getting into mischief lol.

matese thanks. We have our home baby proof from when we dog sat our neighbors yorkie. Cords are up, things off the floor, anything I even think may be chewed or destroyed is out of reach. Oh but knowing how sneaky and smart they are I am sure she will find SOMETHING! But that is why we have a XPen.... Thanks again. I am loving your little tidbits of things to do and watch for! | |

| Isn't it bad to separate a puppy from its parents before 8 weeks? |

| LOL, my last puppy which is some years ago, although I did over kill of puppy proofing she managed to chew up 5 pairs of slippers while I was nome, noooo, I didn't own 5 pairs, I had to keep buying them. My slippers were kept in my bedroom closet that had sliding doors. While I was at work she was confined to a 3x5 area, all doors were shut tight. when I came home she was allowed out of that area and had free roam of 3 rooms. I couldn't imagine how she could get the slippers that were in a closed closet. One night I am sitting on my bed taking off my work shoes and in comes Miss Thing, goes to the closet and starts tap, tap, tapping the closet door, with each tap the vibration is making the sliding door open a wee lil bit until Miss Thing could fit her snoot in the opening and push the door open enough to stick her head in and grab a slipper lol. Such smart lil critters I couldn't get mad at her, just to cute. Lesson learned lol, all doors remained closed even when I was home lol.

| OMGoodness what a lil beauty she is, a DIVA in the making. I see no one answered one of your earlier questions " Can you say squirrel!!!" lol, when she gets a bit bigger and they have tormented her beyond her limits you can if you wanna see a yorkie go nuts lol. Just make sure windows are closed lol. My guy had ripped the curtain brackets out of the walls because of those pesky lil squirrels lol.

Oh joys, and here I thought my golden went nuts when he saw a squirrel. He and I would go hunting squirrels.. never got many.. he chased them off... but it was fun to have him in the woods with me... She will keep our yard clear of them I am sure, barking at the ones outside the fence from the sun room.
