It's really hard to tell, but my first impression is (besides him being cute) is that his ears are down. He may still be too young, but it has been my experience that well bred dogs ears are up by 8 or 9 weeks. Even if his just haven't popped up or he is scared and just keeping them down, the set (where they are situated on the head) of them looks low to me indicating that there may be some other breeds in his background. Also hard to tell from his pictures and not knowing his age, but he looks rather big.

Wow, looks big for six weeks so still time for the ears to come up. Even purebred Yorkies, have different types of coats. If you want a long coat then you have to have one bred to have a silky coat. If you see any curl or wave then the coat is not silky and is harder to keep groomed and a "puppy cut" usually looks best.

| Looks Yorkie to me. If he's mixed it's hard to tell because he's is so young. It might be easier to tell as your pup gets older. He's really cute regardless. I say enjoy him too!

it can be hard to tell. My Dinky has floppy ears, and his hair seems sort of wavy when it gets to a certain length. He had some other breeding flaws. I'm pretty confident that he has some poodle in there somewhere. His father came from a breeder my brother got his Yorkie from. So I knew a little but not enough. I'm okay with Dinky's problem with that is that she did almost nothing to socialize him. That is an important facet of good breeding.

Too young to tell yet. They change so much in the first year and the ears flop sometimes because they have so much hair on them. Enjoy him, he is a doll.
