The puppies are here! Yorkie/Chinese Crested Mix

I have 2 crates. The exercise pen is ordered and will be here in about a week.

I have 2 food bowls and 1 water bowl. I have pee pads and a pee pad holder. I have blankets and dog beds for them. I have toys. I have harnesses. I have the tags ordered for one and they should be here any day and plan to order the tags for the other next week. I have the vet lined up, they told me to just call the week before and set up an appointment for them as I am not sure when they are arriving yet (end of May sometime).

I will have food bought before we go pick them up.

Am I missing anything? Raksha and Rowan will be so spoiled and loved!

I also have nutri-cal.

They will be making an 11 hour car trip home sometime next month. I thought I would take that with me and put a little on their food during the trip. I hope they travel well. I am taking one crate to bring them home in, but at home they will each have a crate.

May I suggest that your friend send you home with an item(blanket, towel, stuffed animal) with their mother's scent? I did this for both my puppies and it made things go a bit smoother with bedtime and the drive home.

Thanks. I will ask her about that. She can probably go pick up a cheap blanket and have it all ready to go by the time the puppies are ready.

I get those $2.88 blankets at Wal-Mart for crazy stuff like that. If I had thought of it I would have left one when I was visiting her. It probably would be great for the ride home and also to help them settle in at night once they get here.

She is going to pick up a cheap blanket from Wal-mart to sent them home with. I hope it helps with the car trip and the transition to their new home.

We can't wait to bring them home! We are getting their area ready for them! I have all the supplies except food which I will get in a few weeks for them. We are so excited. They are being held by children and at a funny close to the camera thing so they look a lot bigger than what they really are.

Do you have a date when yours is coming home?

Mine are coming home on May 18th! We are counting down. I have everything bought except the food and I already know the brand they are on now, so I just need to pick up a bag which I will do in a couple weeks. I don't see the point of having the food just sitting around for a month not being used.

We are so excited and so ready for them to be here. Just a little bit longer.

I'd like to know too. I have two Iris pens connected, but sooner or later Veau's going to realize she can jump over it.

Cooper can already jump a regular baby gate so I had to get a super tall one that has a door on it!!! For being so little he can jump super high!!!

I got a Pet Trex exercise pen from Amazon. Like this. It was not very expensive and I think it will work great!
