YT 1000 Club Member | I have looked into pet insurance for the puppy. I can't sign it up until it is older though but have been looking at it.

| JadeD, I wish your daughter a glorious birthday and an amazing year. I, too, have two wonderful Yorkie mixes and adore them. Actually, my little girlie just went to her first Barn Hunt class last Tues and did nicely. Yes, I plan on getting my mix a title. I do have purebred dogs for working, etc, but I am also happily owned and manipulated by some rather interesting mixes - Shoot, I'm a mix breed myself. So, there. I do think insurance is an excellent idea, purebreed or mix. Congratulations and happy Birthday to your beautiful daughter again. |

| Karan I think Jade will not say it but she wants this dog as much as her daughter so the pup will probably wind up with two mommies.

It is so spoiled already! This will be the first dog that is hers, as usually we have family dogs and then they get attached to one person, usually me. I will try very hard to let it get more attached to my daughter, but it will love me. I am the pack leader around here though so not sure how that will play out in terms of it being her dog. As I sit here right now Teek is laying on the couch with me and my husband's dog is laying directly in front of me (on the floor). This is where they like to be because they are always with me.

| Raksha is a darling! I love her coloring. I can't wait to see her as she gets older. I bet now that you and your daughter have seen Raksha that you are even more anxious to bring her home. How old is she going to be when you bring her home? How much longer do you have to wait? How did Teek get along with Raksha? Did they do well together? Please post more pictures when you get them.

YT 1000 Club Member | This is the puppy I like. I told my friend that if he is still without a forever home when I pick up Raksha I will take him home with me. I love him. I refuse to pick out a name for him until he is mine though because she still might have someone want him and I don't want to make the commitment only because I would have 4 dogs then! If I bring him home though it will be a commitment though. I think he is darling. As far as Teek, he was over whelmed. It was his first trip with me and he was anxious. My friend has a rottweiler mix and he was terrified of him even though he is a gentle giant. Her Yorkie (the daddy) was pestering him. He ended up staying in the play area of her house where her dogs are not allowed while we were there. I showed him a puppy and he ran and hid. I think he will be okay when it is at our house and he feels safer though. Here is the puppy that I really like.

YT 1000 Club Member | My husband and I are picking out a name for our new puppy! LOL Yup, 4 dogs we will have soon. My daughter will be responsible for watching my puppy if we go away like for a weekend. Teek will go with me whenever I can take him or he will stay with her or at home with our big dog. The person that watches our big dog can watch Teek if we have to leave him, but he is rarely left. LOL It will all work out in the end I am sure. Now to think of a name. I like cool and fairly unique names so I will have to find something. Teek is a Star Wars name. So maybe from a book or movie. Maybe a Lord of the Rings name or something. I am so excited!

YT 1000 Club Member | It is official. We have my daughter's puppy Raksha coming to live with us in about another month. We also have her brother coming to live with us at the same time and his name will be: Rowan James Because a giant owl in my dream last night told me that was his name! LOL I don't know why James is his middle name, James was my father's name. He died 12 years ago. The puppies were born just 3 days before my dad's birthday would have been. It is not what I would have given him for a middle name, but when I heard it I liked the way it sounded and I tried other middle names and nothing else fit like that. So, James it is.
