| 2+2=4 X the Love ♥ Donating Member | So Busted !! Its cute until someone's pup gets very sick. Please be careful about your baby getting into the litter box. Just last week there was a thread about an emergency visit when someone's pup evidently ate some of the littler. It was clogging the pups intestines due to the clumping. Here is the thread: http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/gen...-thoughts.html

| Donating YT 3000 Club Member | The litter itself is damaging. Especially if it is clumping litter. I have mine in the bathroom with a gate across it when Galen is about. My boys are 13 and they jump right over. And you do not even have to get a tall gate.

| Senior Yorkie Talker | Yes - thanks everyone - fortunately she doesn't seem to like the litter itself at all - (and, seems to be less obsessed w/ litter in last few days - can always hope for a miracle). But good point to remind on the risks of litter (it can be dangerous for kittens, even - depending on their habits). The gate isn't practical right now with litter box location. We'll figure out something better over time - meanwhile she's closely supervised when in the area - (yes she did get away briefly the time you see in the pic). Best, Alec |
