| Colby =D Hi Everyone! I am new to YorkieTalk and I am excited to learn a ton from you guys! I am not a first-time dog owner, but this is my very first Yorkie and I am already obsessed <3 This is Colby! He found him lost about a week ago and took him in to keep him safe. I managed to find the original owner and turns out he'd been lost for over a month! The owner had already adopted a new puppy and couldn't really handle a 2nd puppy, so I offered to give him a loving home... and I am so happy I did! He is such a sweetheart and I already love him so much. I look forward to reading your posts! |

I can't understand that the old owner didn't want him back after he had been lost. That say's alot about that person. I am glad that he safe now and being taken care of and loved.

The original owner was very nice and happy to see Colby had a safe home now... but I agree, I don't see myself ever letting this little guy go.

Donating YT 3000 Club Member | Welcome to YT! I so agree. What kind a person would replace their pup after he was lost a month and most of all not want their puppy back when found. He is family. I am glad you took him in and giving him the home he deserves |

| I am sooo glad that you found Colby. He is obviously meant for you. I'm kind of sad for that new puppy the original owners got. ugh. Colby definitely has a better home now

The owner mentioned she had 2 daughters and they cried almost every night when Colby ran away so that's why she decided to adopt another dog. And she was willing to take him back, but I could just sense that she sounded a little overwhelmed at the thought of 2 dogs and 2 small daughters so that's why I offered to keep him and give him a loving home. Just wanted to throw that out there so everyone doesn't think shes a villain in the story! lol. But her loss is def my gain, I'd been looking for the right puppy for us for the past couple of months and Colby just felt into our laps. Thanks everyone!
