How incredibly beautiful has it been the past few weeks! Dallas and I were practicing his sit and stay for weeks just for this year's bluebonnets.

Thank you! It has been absolutely gorgeous! I couldn't believe how still she was for me. I just couldn't get her to look at the camera!

This is my honey last weekend in Cedar Park. We are going out again this weekend after he gets groomed. He has no idea why I keep putting him into these plants and walking away from him.

I want to get him in all the different amazing wild flowers we have popping up right now! Why cant it be like this year round? Another summer like the last one and I am packing a few cases of salsa and moving to Portland!

I tell ya! I'm with you on packing a couple of bags! I dread this summer! The dh and I have already discussed taking a couple of vacations to somewhere cooler during that time

I haven't seen hardly any Indian Paintbrushes..just Bluebonnets. I was really worried about Boop's allergies but surprisingly it didn't bother her at all! I'm the one that got a red rash on my legs from kneeling in all those beautiful flowers! lol

I love that second picture! Jealous of all your blue bonnets and what great background they make for taking pictures of your babies.

Hoping that soon my tulips will be up so I can take photos of Romeo and post them. I plant over 500 bulbs every fall but this winter has been such a mess that my "crop" is not looking healthy.

love all the photos, I would be hard pressed to pick a favorite. both dogs look so cute peaking out from the BB's Good idea to take more in different dresses as well as a few nude shots Please be sure to post those as well. I have never seen a Blue Bonnets in person, is it a wild flower and does it grow like ground cover. Thanks for taking the time to share

Thank you! The bluebonnet is the Texas State Flower, for those of you who didn't know this. I agree, they do make for a colorful photo shoot!

Thank you so much! The bluebonnet is the Texas State Flower and, yes, they do grow wild. They usually grow best and thrive in poor soil. They only spread when they died off and their seeds drop. I planted some on my parents' gravesite about 6 weeks ago. They are coming up, but didn't produce flowers this year.

I love them all, and I'm so glad you "tortured" us with them! I think my favorite may be the one where it looks like she is completely surrounded and just her head is popping out.
