| Thanks everyone for the warm welcome! I have noticed several from Alabama, I was beginning to think yorkies were not common here! My baby is doing great, watching her closely but so far so good. She is quite lively and already has developed a liking for my shoes! She loves toys too of course, which isn't making Scooby very happy. So far he has been a gentleman and content to pout because she has 1 of his 999 toys. He tries to sneak her food, which is quite funny cause he is so picky! I fixed him some when I fixed hers, but he wants her bowl too. Still trying to decide on the name, its down to Lola, Daphne and Shayla. Quote:

| WELCOME to YT. It is great to read the postings of new owners and what they have learned in just a couple of days about their babies. I know somettimes we sound harsh, but it is so hard to read a post where someone has lost a new baby because a breeder has let it go too young, a vet has given vaccines over again and so on. I think that y'all will learn a lot from each other and hope that each one reads the others concerns about a new, young puppy. Sometimes, it just means more to know someone else is having the same problems as you. The pics of these eensy ones I have seen are ever so cute . Congrats to you all.....Keep in touch with your breeders.. |

| Welcome to YT and i vote for Shayla!! She is adorable. I won't harp on the over vaccination issue except to advise you to please research this subject on here and on the internet as it is serious and will affect your babie's entire life. There is no such thing as a "routine vaccination". It sounds like thenew little one may be the answer to Scooby's picky eating habits!! Cute! |
